Biodiversity workshop with UEA

Invitation to biodiversity management workshop 19th January 2023

As part of the Biodiversity Audit of the North Norfolk farmland, you are invited to join a farmland habitat management workshop on 19th January 2023 to be led by the UEA audit team.

Venue – Prince of wales Stand, Fakenham Racecourse

Timing – 09:30-12:30

This is an opportunity for farmers and land managers within the consortium to help steer and shape future decisions about ELMs and landscape recovery in this part of Norfolk. The UEA team will first share preliminary results from the farmland and farm-woodland audit, exploring how many priority species may benefit from different features and agri-environmental prescriptions.

In the remainder of the workshop, UEA would like to hear your views on the practicalities of delivering the on-farm features considered so far in the Audit and whether there are other important features missed, in an open forum with Natural England advisers.

Please let Franky Rogers franky.rogers@uea.ac.uk know whether you are able to attend, and please save the date in your diaries.
