Partner organisations news and research

The Norfolk Rivers Trust has been working with a team of volunteers to research and survey fish species within the salt marsh surrounding Blakeney Harbour. prior to this project there had been little research into the fish population, but species such as eels, smelt and bass are important for the marine and freshwater food chain, as well as the local economy.

Monthly surveys were carried out at 8 sites across the harbour. Click here for the full story: https://norfolkriverstrust.org/project/blakeney-harbour-netting/
